ProcureOps
COMPASS
Track your contracts and consumption in one place, with actionable insight on live and projected overages.
- AWS CUR ingestion: configure a FOCUS-format CUR export from a new integration type. One-click, one-time setup via an AWS CloudFormation template; Compass then syncs each new export from your S3 bucket automatically.
- Manage integration health and deactivation from Connected → Integrations.
- The ProcureOps dashboard turns commitment and usage data into insights graded RED — CRITICAL AMBER — WARNING GREEN — HEALTHY, refreshed weekly.
- Covers AWS PPA commitments, child commitments (RIs, SPs), service-level commitments, and SaaS bought through AWS Marketplace, surfacing ~12 insight types today.
- Drill into any insight for a visualization, supporting data, and two kinds of next step: Flywl actions (Start FPO, Start Spend Modelling, Plan PPA Top-up) you can launch in place, or AI-recommended alternate actions outside Flywl.
- Ignore an insight to mute it for two months, set custom alerts on a commitment threshold, and export the full report as a PDF.

Incentives
COMPASS
See every discount you're eligible for, whether from the marketplace or the seller, right inside the buying flow.
- Surfaces marketplace discounts you qualify for, like AWS MPOPPs.
- Shows seller-run discounts available on Flywl.
- Tracks the full application cycle of a discount through the FPO journey.
- Totals your savings on every transaction (incentives plus drawdown benefits), so the value of buying through Compass is explicit.
BEACON
A self-serve way to run discount campaigns, with two incentive types and a full publish-to-analytics loop.
- Two creation models: credit-back incentives using TCV-based credit slabs (e.g. 5% under $1M, 3% up to $10M, 2% above), or custom offers for models that don't fit the credit shape.
- Build banner campaigns that run on Compass to drive conversions.
- Upload a CSV of up to 5,000 target accounts, with automatic validation, dedup, and matching against existing Flywl accounts.
- A conflict check blocks publishing two overlapping incentives on the same product and channel, with three one-click resolution paths.
- Success tracked against metrics like publish conversion and transaction lift on incentivised listings.

PIM V2: Richer, fresher catalog
COMPASS
A more robust product catalog that stays current across marketplaces.
- Integrated with the Azure Marketplace, surfacing all Azure listings.
- Built-in filtering keeps the catalog to software vendors only.
- Reconciles edits from every source: marketplace catalogs and seller updates made in Beacon.
- Regular sync keeps listings aligned with AWS, Azure, and GCP.

New features & updates
Manual inventory addition
COMPASS
Add inventory by hand, with no CSV or integration required.
- Add Inventory now offers three paths: Upload CSV, Insert Manually, or Connect Integration. Manual entry searches Flywl's catalog as you type.
- If a vendor or product isn't in the catalog yet, Request New Vendor/Product opens a quick form (vendor, website, product, TCV, channel, dates) that submits immediately instead of blocking you.
- Requests appear right away as an "Addition in progress" line item in the right bucket (Active, Future, Expired), with no waiting on ops.
- Toast, email, and org-wide bell notifications fire at each stage: raised, approved, rejected.
FUID & seller catalog management
BEACON
One global, human-readable identifier, the FUID, so the same product stops showing up under a different name on every marketplace.
- Onboard your vendor first (search Flywl's registry or create a new one), which mints an immutable vendor code, the first half of every FUID you generate.
- Adding a product family mints the full FUID: a readable, checksum-verified code (e.g. FUID-AT9Q-JIR4Z2-K) built from vendor and product names, not tied to any one marketplace.
- New vendors and product families route through PIM for Flywl approval before they sync back into Beacon and become editable.
- Each product can carry multiple marketplace listings (AWS, Azure, GCP, Direct) under the same FUID, so cross-marketplace reconciliation no longer depends on matching inconsistent names.
- Products stay in draft until submitted; deleting one marks the FUID expired rather than freeing it, and FUIDs are never recycled.

Inventory V3: vendor-only onboarding
COMPASS
A lightweight path that gets inventory in without a full contract template, then routes matched vendors straight to checkout.
- Upload a vendor-only CSV alongside the full-template flow, and Compass auto-detects which one you uploaded from the columns present.
- Matched vendors land in the Vendors tab with a Create FPO button that launches Quick Checkout in as few as two clicks.
- A Scan Complete modal sorts uploads into Ready, In-Review, and Excluded (non-SaaS) so nothing disappears silently; flag a wrong match on the spot.
- Vendors auto-sync with detailed inventory on every contract upload, manual entry, FPO acceptance, or integration push, so the two views never drift.
- Deleting a vendor-only contract removes it from the Vendor view; vendors tied to an open FPO or active renewal can't be deleted.
PIM: smarter vendor onboarding
Vendor onboarding now sorts every uploaded vendor so irrelevant ones stop cluttering the catalog.
- CSV-uploaded vendors are sorted into Software, Non-Software, or Error/Incomplete.
- Incomplete vendors route to a dedicated Ignored Vendors list instead of cycling back through enrichment.
- Catalog managers can add, edit, or delete ignored vendors, with dedup checks against both the live catalog and the ignored list.
- Cuts wasted AI spend and review time on vendors that were never going to make the catalog.
- Integrated with AWS discovery APIs to keep the catalog current with marketplace listings.

Sign-up & account tracking
BEACON
A proper front door to Beacon: work-email signup, company setup, and a structured way to track your buyer pipeline.
- Sign up with a work email, verify, and set up your company profile (name, legal name, website, logo). Returning users at an existing company sign in via SSO or password and wait on an admin invite.
- Claim your seller profile against Flywl's vendor catalog by URL match (or create a new one), and get a unique ID (part of your FUID) once Flywl ops approves the claim.
- A dedicated Accounts & Leads CRM lets you add or bulk-import pipeline data, with contacts modelled as a sub-entity and company URL used to dedupe across leads, accounts, and existing buyers.
- Track every FPO request in an Ongoing / Completed / Dropped dashboard as Flywl ops moves it through its lifecycle.

Spend Optimiser
COMPASS
Simulate moving software spend onto your cloud Enterprise Commitments before you commit, so committed dollars get used, not wasted.
- Enter projected native spend per cloud provider; Compass checks it against your Enterprise Commitment and flags a shortfall or overage automatically.
- Approaching overage triggers a step-up recommendation, or a clear "not worth it" when a bigger bracket wouldn't save more.
- An allocation engine ranks direct-procurement tools by contract value and suggests which to migrate to the marketplace, based on remaining drawdown room.
- The dashboard tracks available drawdown, potential savings, and overage live as you drag tools between channels, and one click turns the finished plan into draft FPOs.

New features & updates
Inventory
COMPASS
A guided way to get your software inventory into Compass, replacing manual spreadsheet reconciliation.
- Choose CSV/XLSX upload (10MB cap) or connect a procurement system (Coupa, ServiceNow) to sync inventory directly.
- Every batch is verified before an auto-matching algorithm maps vendors and products against the catalog by name.
- Small error batches get inline, row-level fixes; large ones get a downloadable error report, with no all-or-nothing re-upload.
- The Inventory page splits contracts into Active, Future, and Expired tabs, with search, filtering, and renewal-date sorting built in.
Purchase Flow
A guided in-app flow for renewals and buy-backs: start a request, save a draft, and submit when it's ready.
- Every purchase or renewal starts as a draft FPO Request that auto-saves as you fill it in, so nothing is lost mid-form.
- Renewals default to a one-click Flat Renewal, or open up contract dimensions for an Upgrade or Downgrade.
- Potential savings, best available drawdown value, and Flywl Credit are all calculated and shown before submission.
- Supports custom durations, future-dated execution, and flexible payment schedules (upfront, flexible, or custom cadence).
- Displays the marketplace offer and records acceptance of the final agreement to complete the FPO.
Flywl Credit
Flywl Credit moves off a manual spreadsheet into a real accrual engine, with one ledger buyers and internal teams both see.
- Credit accrues automatically as a share of Flywl's margin on a deal, calculated the moment your payment lands.
- A Flywl Credit wallet shows balance, expiry, and a full history of what was earned and redeemed.
- Redemption applies directly against a new purchase request, tracked from in progress through settled.
